Our history

AgroPress was founded in 1943 in Basel, Switzerland. The magazine brand ‚The Fruit World‘ has been an icon of the global perishable since then. In the 1980s the publishing house created the ‘Clipper’ magazine, originally ‘The Cracker’ in collaboration with the International Nut and Dried Fruit Council as the official industry periodical for the international nut and dried fruit trade: Raisins, Apricots, Plums, Apples,Almonds, Peanuts, Walnuts, Pistachios, Sorting, Shelling, Steaming, Pasteurization, Radiation, almonds, walnuts, peanuts, cashew nuts, pecans are among the topics of the B2B magazine for producers, processors, traders, industry organisations, logistics companies, research and education institutions, retail, crop protection and crop science.
